And all am going through. This song came to mind after sharing my struggles with the Lord in prayer.

Description

As I struggled to seek the Lord this I am reminded that Jesus already knows our struggles and HE is with me and will guide me through to victory all I have to do is receive and follow HIM. So glad this song was written as a testimony of the Lord's goodness and faithfulness to save us!

Johnson Jr.

They worked side by side in the family mercantile business under Johnson Oatman and Son. When he was 19, the younger Oatman became an ordained minister. It has been a key part of his life for the last 42 years.

He can play most musical instruments and read any music. He is widely acclaimed as a passionate interpreter of Gregorian Chant -- Catholic Liturgical Music heritage.

When he is not hard at work as the chairman for the Music Copyright Society of Kenya, he dabbles as a choir instructor in a number of Catholic churches in the country. His passion for music has driven him to attempt what no other Kenyan has tried before, a hymnal book like Golden Bells, which was first published in The English Hymnal titled Melodies For God contains 55 songs with music for all the four parts of a choir; soprano, alto, tenor and bass.

My new hymnal book covers three main areas.

O Lilly, sweet Lilly, dear Lilly Dale, Now the wild rose blossoms o'er her little green grave, 'Neath the trees in the flow'ry vale. Her cheeks that once glowed, with the rose-tint of health, By the hand of disease hath turned pale, And the death damp was on the pure white brow Of my poor lost Lilly Dale.

Come, with thy lute, to the fountain; Sing me a song of the mountain; Sing of the happy and free; There, while the ray is declining, While its last roses are shining, Sweet shall our melodies be, Under the broad linden tree, Under the broad linden tree. Come, where the zephyrs are straying, Where, mid the flower-buds playing, Rambles the blithe summer bee; Let the lone churl, in his sorrow, He who despairs of the morrow, Far to his solitude flee, Under the dark cypress tree, Under the dark cypress tree.

Why should we droop in our sadness? Nature, her promise of gladness Sheds over land and o'er sea; Come, bring thy lute to the fountain, Sing, love, a song of the mountain; Sweet shall our melodies be, Under the broad linden tree, Under the broad linden tree. Just before the battle, Mother, I am thinking most of you, While upon the field we're watching, With the enemy in view.Life s tumult we must meet again, We cannot at the shrine remain ; But in the spirit s secret cell, May hymn and prayer for ever dwell.

Only, O Lord, in Thy dear love, Fit us for perfect rest above: Twilight and evening bell, And after that the dark! Saviour, teach us so to rise!

From distrust and envy free, Pleased with all that pleases Thee. I ask not far before to see, But take in trust my road ; Life, death, and immortality Are in my thought of God. There is an arm that never tires When human strength gives way , There is a love that never fails When earthly loves decay.
